August 2, 2010 at 7:25 am Filed in:Uncategorized No Comments

Dark Underarms? Worried about going to the beach and exposing your dark underarm skin? Don’t be! Dark underarms are temporary and can be lightened using a variety of safe, non-prescription underarm bleaching creams. It should be noted that not all underarm lightening creams are the same as some are actually risky to use on sensitive portions of the skin including the underarm skin, so please keep reading.

While it is always important to compare ingredients, it is especially important to be aware of one specific ingredient: Hydroquinone. While this skin lightening ingredient is still legal in the United States, it has been banned all over the world due to the fact that it has been linked to a variety of health problems including a link to cancer. Unfortunately, some of the leading underarm bleaching creams sold in the United States rely on Hydroquinone as their primary/active ingredient. If you find a product which contains Hydroquinone, you may want to think twice before purchasing it.

It is especially important not to use Hydroquinone on the sensitive portions of the skin including the underarm skin.

One of the safest and most effective products for dark underarms is Medliten available @ www.medliten.com. Medliten not only contains a variety of safe and effective ingredients including Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid, but it also does not contain Hydroquinone. What this means is that it may take Medliten a little longer to produce dramatic effects, but in turn it is much SAFER.

If you are planning on going to the beach and will be exposing your dark underarms, you should plan ahead. It will take a few weeks for Medliten to lighten the skin. In addition to using an underarm bleaching cream like Medliten, it is also important to shave/wax less often as well as to switch to a different, hypoallergenic skin care products. This is because shaving/waxing as well as the usage of certain cosmetic products is often what leads to the development of dark underarm skin in the first place.

If you can plan a little ahead, make small adjustments to your beauty routine, and use am underarm lightening cream like Medliten, you should easily be able to lighten your dark underarms prior to going the beach.

How to Lighten Dark Underarms

April 7, 2010 at 7:05 am Filed in:Uncategorized 1 Comment

First off, thank you for all the nice comments I have been receiving, I appreciate it. I have also been surprised that some male readers are interested in underarm lightening. This is welcome news.

To begin, I really want to address some readers who claim that the best way to lighten dark underarms is by using a combination of lemon juice and baking powder. The long and short of it is that yes, this remedy will probably help lighten your underarm skin tone, based on the acidity of the lemon juice, but it has been shown to take a really long time and to produce very minimal results. The development of dark underarms is a gradual process and unless fairly dramatic steps are taken to lighten them, they will remain discolored.

As many of you know, I recommend using the skin lightener Medliten for use on the underarm skin because it is one of the safest skin lighteners available on the market. If you would like to know more about Medliten for Dark Underarms, please click on the highlighted link or visit www.medliten.com.

Using a skin lightener like Medliten to lighten or whiten dark underarms has many advantages over using natural home remedies. Yes, lemon juice will help temporarily lighten the skin, but the moment you stop using it, the dark underarms will immediately return.

Medliten has a much longer effect because it prohibits new skin from developing pigment in addition to lightening the current layers of skin. As the old layers of skin fade away, the new layers will be much lighter. This is because Medliten contains two very important ingredients: Alpha Arbutin and Kojic Acid. Both of these ingredients have been clinically proven to not only be safe, but to also be extremely effective as well.

It is important to note, and I have mentioned this a few times on this blog, that you should also take the time to address how you achieved dark underarm skin in the first place. Most people develop dark underarms because they shave or wax too often and or use a brand of deod0rant that their skin essentially does not like.

Therefore, in addition to using Medliten, you should also potentially switch deodorants ( I recommend hypoallergenic brands) and also wax/shave a little less often.

Please note that while using Medliten will have a much longer lasting effect on your dark underarm skin than using a natural remedy, you will still need to occasionally use it after you achieve the results you want in order to maintain your desired underarm skin tone.
